Mordechai Vanunu Station

Outpost operated by the Existential Risks Directorate as a research and safe storage site for nuclear technology confiscated or obtained in the course of Directorate operations.
The station is built partly into an asteroid, consisting of a spin drum with accomondations for personnel, a vault buried in the rock behind it, and on the other side a microgravity lab atop a long standoff tunnel, isolating it from the spin drum with distance and asteroidial mass in the event of a catastrophic explosion.
Its vault houses components and nuclear materials recovered by the Directorate from sources such as terrorists, unlicensed scientists, disarmament programs, and primitive civilizations (self-destructed or extant), which are analyzed for useful information and then stored or destroyed.
