Galapagos Accords
One of the first resolutions passed by the Stellar Compact after its foundation, the Galapagos Accords lays out rules governing the ethical conduct of war. The conference which drafted it was held on a water-world named Galapagos, from which it gets its name.
The Accords forbid the development of strategic deterrence arsenals such as RKV fleets, condemning mutually assured destruction threatened against civilian populations as inhumane.
Similarly, it also bans the use of radiogenic weapons in combat as a war crime.
