American Benevolent Society

The American Benevolent Society is a charity organization headquartered on the Americanist world Columbia. Active througout American Space, it is particularly known for funding technological uplift projects on lost American-descended worlds like Calera. Society advocates see this as magnanimity towards their former countrymen in the American Federation, while to opponents it is cover for the financial enslavement of these worlds and extraction of their resources.
