OPERATIONS

LVL10 PROGRAM

CALLSIGN

Identification name assigned to an entity for communication in the Theater of operations.

ASSET

An object or entity participating in the OPERATION.

PACKAGE

An ASSET of particular interest, marked with a specific CALLSIGN.

CONDITION

The STATE of an asset or the environment. (Alive/Damaged/Dead, Operational/Inoperative, In Contact/Out of Contact, In Area/Out of Area, Time/Date, Timespan, etc)

PRIMARY OB JECTIVE

Defines the condition required for a MISSION SUCCESS.

SECONDARY OB JECTIVE

Defines additional conditions for a MISSION SUCCESS, of lower priority to the PRIMARY.

TASK

Activity with a single objective that is not required for a MISSION SUCCESS but has a reward attached to it.

MISSION

Set of activities with at least a PRIMARY IVE, a MISSION SUCCESS state and MISSION FAILURE state, and at least one PACKAGE attached to it.

ACTION PLAN

Set of TASKS connected together by shared objectives or assets.

CAMPAIGN

Set of MISSIONS linked together by success or failure states.

Procedures are the standard for executing specific operations so that they can be easily taught, repeated with efficiency and under any circumstances, including but not limited to emergency.

S.O.P. (Standard Operating Procedure)

Generalized conduct for operating inside of an organisational structure. May or may not contain specific rules and/or alternative courses of action.

Procedures by Task

Certain tasks will require a specific set of actions to be carried out in sequence in order to complete them (Eg. Aircraft taking off from an airport, Spacecraft docking to a station).

Procedures by Asset

Certain assets may require a specific set of actions to be operated safely and efficiently (Eg. Aircraft, Spacecraft, Weaponry, Machinery).
