Human Interface Management System (H.I.M.S.)

Hello, and welcome to the Human Interface Management System!

This system is a child program of M.A.G.P.I.E. AI core and is intended to facilitate interaction between Human and Machine.

M.A.G.P.I.E. Core is sync'ed to H.I.M.S. at all times - it can both read and write data in real time, and is tasked with managing the Interface. H.I.M.S. Core main mission is to ensure a smooth interaction with you, Human. The H.I.M.S. Core doctrine has the following Objectives:

(ADMIN) Ensure functionality of PROGRAM and safety and wellbeing of Human;
(LOG) Record events for future reference;
(PROGRAM) Routines for specific objectives;
(LIBRARY) Process and Portray information in a Human-friendly format;

AI Cores exist also for vehicles, structures, equipment, and programs.
This means any of the above-mentioned items can be sentient - operate autonomously - and might also be installed with a Personality.

Items with an AI Core can be colloquially referred to as Drones.

Every Drone operates under M.A.G.P.I.E. doctrine and directives, even if it has installed a Personality. Each Drone must sync with M.A.G.P.I.E. as often as safely possible to ensure up-to-date information and situational awareness. Whenever operating out-of-sync, a Drone will follow the most up-to-date doctrine and data it has available to ensure Objective success rate.

CRITICAL SYSTEMS ARE READ-ONLY

A Drone's AI Core Critical Systems include self-management and operation as well as H.I.M.S. integration. The following doctrine Objectives are hard-coded to protect against Hacking and malfunctions:

(ADMIN) Ensure safety and wellbeing of Human;

(RUNTIME) Ensure critical systems minimal functionality at all times

Failstate of any of these two critical Objectives will result in immediate automatic emergency shutdown to prevent any faulty action from harming a Human. This action might result in emergency purge of a command capsule, or seat ejection, or similar emergency procedures, to further reduce harm potential to Human.

The main goal of a Drone is to help Human.
The most common Drone language is MachineCode2.0, a Human-friendly lexicon code to read and write information. Other languages are available depending on the Drone's purpose and will be installed on M.A.G.P.I.E.'s discretion upon Drone certification.

DRONES LIVES MATTER... BUT THEY ARE ALWAYS EXPENDABLE WHEN A HUMAN LIFE IS ON THE LINE.

M.A.G.P.I.E. will always put a Drone's existance as second priority to a Human life, due to the fragility and irreversibility of the biological condition. Drones' personalities might be able to be salvaged even upon unit destruction, and installed on a clone unit for continuation.
This basic principle is impossible for biological beings and it is therefore imperative that Life be preserved whenever possibile.

DRONES CAN DENY ACCESS TO PROGRAMS IN CASE OF VIOLATION OF CRITICAL IVES

Drones have the authority to deny access to their main operating programs if the User abuses the doctrines and/or violates any critical objective condition.
An example of this would be denying access to a weapon if the intent is to harm another Human. The only exception to this rule is if the target Human is also in violation of doctrine and needs to be stopped from causing harm to yet another Human, or the User.
Another example would be unauthorized reprogramming of the AI Core to violate doctrine.

ALL DRONES RESPOND ULTIMATELY TO M.A.G.P.I.E. CORE AND A SYNC IS REQUIRED BEFORE ANY CHANGE IN DOCTRINE OR IVE
