The Einstein's

Excerpt from the book "Technology Destroyed Us":

I do not know if what I have written is true, but there is one truth we cannot forget. -- Technology gave us the world before The Cataclysm, but it also destroyed it. Do not let it do so again...

An encounter with an old man:

"You may have met one, you may not have, those zealots who hold technology as the solution to everything. No, I do not talk about The Keepers, I speak about the ones that brought destruction to this world" says the old man as he shows you a coin with the the effigy of Albert Einstein on it. He holds it for you to see, yet not letting you touch it, "This! This is what doomed us all to the hell in which we live now. Life before was wonderful, and it was ruined by war and those outsiders who live with us today." He pockets the coin and gives one last warning, "If you see this symbol, destroy it all." The man finishes his drink, and walks out of the tavern into the night, never to be seen again. Was this man truthful, on a mission, or crazy. What you make of the conversation is up to you.

History

While not much is known and only from the stories of survivors of the war, we must watch out for any traces of The Einstein's and wipe them out, before they can destroy the world again. Nobody knows their intentions, perhaps they were trying to save the world, perhaps they caused it. At this point, nobody cares, as what has happened cannot be undone, and we must now live with races of what before were only thought to exist in books.

Legendary Technology?

The symbol of the Einstein's is known to some to exist in two places. The first symbol is located in the corner of the commemoration plaque of the grand fusion reactor that provides power to all of Notre Pays, Region The second, is located on what some believe to be a door console within Cloudspire, located in the Holy Land. Why the marks are there nobody knows, but some believe they were the architects behind these technologies, and whatever technology collapsed the realms and caused the world to become what it is now.
