Arson

Arson is a nickname inspired by the crime that landed him in the compound. Arson is unique in that he didn't trade his life away in exchange for the cure, and he wasn't rescued from the ruins. In fact, he was born a Citizen of Iris, and his mother is a high ranked member of the Prophet's Voices. Upon setting a fire in the city of Iris in a foolish attempt to destroy it, his mother arranged to have his Citizen tattoo cut from his body and for him to be cast into the compound. He hates his mother and his origins and refuses to disclose his birth name to anyone.

Physical Description

Facial Features

A toothy grin, often goes weeks without shaving, and has a small triangular burn scar though people often forget it given all the other burn scars covering his body.

Identifying Characteristics

He has horrible burn scars, primarily running up his left arm all the way up to his chin. The skin of his neck has a permanent melted look to it. The scars would bring him pain if his Arm Cuffs didn't keep him dosed with pain suppressants. He's also missing a piece of his left earlobe. His hair is redish-blonde, always messy, and singed more often than not.

Physical quirks

He tilts his head and moves his mouth in exaggerated was when he talks.

Apparel & Accessories

Likes to wear ton pieces of fabric tied around his wrists so he can fiddle with them, pull them apart, and use them as kindling. He also uses them to hide things on occasion. Otherwise, he wears the standard [Division 7 - uniform, though with more scortch marks than is strictly normal.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

Accomplishments & Achievements

He attempted to burn down the heart of Iris at the age of around five. He failed and got tossed in the compound, but trying and surviving is feat enough.

Failures & Embarrassments

He's embarrassed by his ties to his mother Catherine , and the fact that he was ever considered a Citizen.

Mental Trauma

Being in the compound and Division 7 comes with a whole lot of trauma on its own, but Arson carries a lot of skeletons from his young childhood. His mother never really loved him, and put all her time and effort into her scientific research, and trying to become pregnant with another child. Despite her attempts, she never had another son, and so despite Arson's attempt to burn down Iris, she argued to have him locked up rather than killed. He's the last of her bloodline, and that's the only value he holds to her. Were she to conceive again, she'd have him killed before the child had a chance to draw its first breath.

Personality Characteristics

Hygiene

Arson sort of binges and purges in terms of hygiene. When he's feeling good or has his sights set on a new sexual conquest, he's generally ruffled, but clean. But when he's feeling angry or down, he goes wild and very quickly gets scruffy and unkempt.

Social

Contacts & Relations

Son of Catherine. Father unknown. No siblings, at least by his mother.

Social Aptitude

Arson is funny and really doesn't care what anyone thinks. His blatant honesty can sting, but he can just as easily sooth with a well-spun lie. He's great at reading people, and can use that to destroy people or build them up, a trait he learned from his mother, though you'll never hear him admit that.

Mannerisms

Very restless. Almost always carries a box of matches, and enjoys lighting them and promptly putting them out. Also tends to fidget with the cloth strips he wears tied around his wrists.

Speech

Swears constantly, and enjoys making everything sexual.
