Arch Mage
The sorcerer, the Arch Mage of the Valyrian Freehold. Born of a Blood mage and a Fire mage, the Inaugrion has been his home since birth. Dragons may rule the skies, but the mages rule the volcanic mountain of Fourteen Flames, and he sits at their zenith.
Appearance And Character
Daemon is 50 years old but outside of his graying silver hair he still looks to be in his 30s. He has an athletic build for his age. He carries himself with an air of confidence as power seems to radiate off him. He spends most of his time in the library of the Inaugrion. Often he can be seen standing outside the Inaugrion scanning the horizon. He has a taste for sweet things.
Daemon is extremely intelligent, possesses uncommonly powerful magical abilities outside of fire and blood magic. He holds to a code of conduct in which he repays all debts and fiercely protects those that he is responsible for. Invoke his anger at your own risk.
History
Early Life
Daemon was literally born of fire and blood. His mother was a blood mage and father was a fire mage. With his birth the arch mage of the time felt the young child was destined for greatness. Daemon grew up in the Inaugrion, surrounded by magic and knowledge. At the age of 5 name days he manifested power, power unlike any that had been seen in a very long time. As he grew in age, Daemon was educated by the Mages in the Brotherhood. He absorbed knowledge and craved even more. He was tested at the age of 5 name days and it was discovered he did have an innate talent for magic.
The rest of the story
Daemon traveled extensively with his Mentor Kalyx. They visited the various areas around the peninsula that were under Valyrian control as well as Rhoyne and even as far away as Asshai. Stories talk of the last time Daemon returned from Asshai this time without his mentor Kalyx.
Word would spread that Kalyx wanted to sacrifice Daemon for power while in Asshai. Daemon had returned to Valyria a changed man. His demeanor would change without warning from light hearted to dark. Some say Daemon is struggling to keep something locked down deep inside his psyche. Daemon would spend the next years of his life working with the Archmage to ferret out more and more Brotherhood mages that were like Kalyx.
With the death of the Archamge, Daemon was voted in as the new head of the Brotherhood. As the new Archmage, Daemon works tirelessly with others of the Order to protect Valyria from internal and external threats.
