Infinite Paper Item in Yonderverse | World Anvil

Infinite Paper

Writing is very popular on Greenerth, be it writing journal and diaries, auto-biographies, non-fiction or fiction books. Some people write online, and publish online, but others prefer writing on paper, papyrus or stone tablets.

Along came a bodacious mage named Frankli Nishal who was experimenting with magic and created infinite paper. This revolutionary writing tool would then become popularised and used almost everywhere on Greenerth.

Unique Property

Infinite paper is unique due to the ability to write nonstop with it, on a single sheet of paper. Infinite paper can be picked apart from regular paper due to the light purple glow when held directly in light. When you write a full side of paper, you can turn it over and fill the other side too. Then, turn it over again and you'll see a blank paper.

Turn the paper over and over and over and you can continuously use this same sheet of paper. If you want to revisit pages you've written or drawn, simply think of the page and turn the paper over, and you'll see the page. Some may find difficulty remembering each side of paper, but if you fold the paper in two and unfold, you'll start back at the very first page you used.

History

When infinite paper was invented, Frankli decided to take advantage and start selling some of it. It quickly became popular since before people often ran out of paper, and this was just a simple solution. Just three months after the infinite paper was released to the public, Trecath's largest retail company, Record Retail, privately negotiated with Frankli to have his product mass-produced and sold in stores continent-wide.

He accepted, knowing that he would earn himself a great amount of money. In just a year, Frankli sold his house and bought a large mansion in Giriga, where he lives today.
