The Revolt of the Half-Kin

The Conflict

Prelude

Half-Elves have been mistreated by Human and Elves for years. These racial tensions are signs of discourse, especially if not resolved. One of the issues is that Elves found them to be "impure," and Humans lusted after them. Over the years, many Half-Elves have sought aid from the Dwarves located in Mount Roma as a safe haven, free of judgment and sexual harassment. Finally, the Dwarves of Mount Roma agreed to share their mountain home. With the Half-Elves living above the surface and the Dwarves dwelling below.

Deployment

Many factors lead up to the deployment of militia attacks on each other. First, the Half-Elves didn't appreciate the new controls and laws the Dwarves wanted to place on the Half-Elf citizens of Mount Roma. So they started to publicly demonstrate their dislike by protesting. These protests were very invoking of the Dwarven guards. After a few weeks of protest, one of the Dwarven guards accidentally killed a Half-Elf protestor. This cause a riot to break out, and the Dwarven guards were killed in that revolt; with both sides of this revolt having lost of life, they have both picked up arms to find a true victor of this battle.

Battlefield

Over the four years of this revolt, The citizens of both Mount Roma and Romation underwent terrorist-style attacks against each other. This ultimately resorted to even destroying some undercity vents to prevent the Dwarves from staging multiple strikes against the Half-Elves on the surface. This ended up causing the siege of Romation. This ultimately was the finishing battle of the revolt.

Conditions

The city of Mount Roma had undergone a lot of structural damages. As a result, the upper town had lost many residences in the center of the town. In later years this will be turned into the exact Alchemist/Doctors Guilds primary location and the market square of Mount Roma.

The Engagement

All was well until the Dwarves felt outnumbered in population numbers between themselves and the Half-Kin races. So dwarves tried to assert dominance in their kingdom through governance and were chastised for doing so.

Aftermath

Half-Elves gained control of the city of Mount Roma. Many of the Dwarves of the Romation started to leave and relocate to Rhineforrel.
