The Consortium of Truth

The Consortium of Truth is a group of Enther's greatest scholars who work to uncover all knowledge and wisdom available to them. They worship their founder and hero turned god Sabine, Hero of Enther and do all their activities in his name.

Origin

As taught by the Church of the Five, Sabine was given lands in the south, near to where he was born and raised in servitude to the ancient entherians. Here he founded the city of Kirkminster. Using the remenants of a ruined Old Kingdom city, Sabine and the southern people raised Kirkminster to it's glory.
Sabine, a believer in learning and knowledge, sought to found a group of learned intellects and scholars to ponder the mysteries of the known world and beyond. With this, he gathered men and women from accross the kingdom, founding the Consortium of Truth.

Mission

The mission of the Consortium is simple, to learn. Their motto "We sow what we learn" is indicative of their thirst for knowledge. The nobility of Enther will often call upon the Consortium to carry out investigations into crimes which have taken place if they are unable to reach a verdict or substantial evidence.

Ranks

The Consortium of Truth follows the current hierarchy:

• Grandmaster Seneschals - Leader of the Consortium, voted in by the masters on a four year basis
• Archmaster Seneschals - The seconds to the Grandmaster, all council members, twelve in total representing the different areas taught within the consortium, teachers within the Consortium.
• Masters Seneschals - Masters are fully sworn members of the consortium who had passed all tests and have mastered the twelve teachings. They may serve to the nobility or other organizations as teachers, judges and other suitable roles
• Disciples - the learners of the consortium. Those who have yet to master all twelve teachings.
