Broker's Hideaway

Brief

Broker's Hideaway, also known as the Deal Center is the headquarters of the brokers and dealers of Port Lautaganan's black market. It is a warehouse near or in the port, though no one is sure of its exact location due to secrecy and illusionary magics.

Criminal Activity

Authorities in Port Lautaganan have been searching for years for the location that houses most if not all of the black market deals going on, but have had no luck in discovering it. Crime rates have raised substantially within the port due to its possibly recent creation.

Law enforcement has been trying to find the people behind it as well as it's location but theorize it must be magically masked in some shape or form.

"Bag'em." Veronica Elwood stood in front of her prospective buyer, watching him with her arms crossed as her men moved toward him. She turned her back to him as a burlap bag was forced over his head. He watched more shadows move towards him, and he took a deep breath. If that was her terms....He'd do it.

Purpose / Function

The original purpose of the Broker's Hideaway was the storage of goods being brough in through the port. As time went on, it started to be co-opted by Veronica Elwood for her criminal plans. The staff that worked at the warehouse were slowly replaced with her own people, or people that could be forced to look the other way.

Alterations

The Broker's Hideaway was adapted magically with various runes to detract attention from the building, as well as hide any traces of crime. Underground bunkers and travel routes throughout the port have been added in secret, which allows them to go to nearly any spot in the port that they want or need to. Whether this is used as escape or for ease of theft is unsure.
