GSD Cure

Written by Pookas Kreations

Ever since the creation of GSD and the enslavement of humans, Urtho has been working on a cure. He is ashamed of the Atlantean’s treatment of their subject races. He finally found it centuries later, after convincing Mother to allow him access to his old lab. This will give him the resources to sequence the human genome and help him find a cure.   Urtho is on the search of an old gene that was altered or turned off to make humans susceptible to GSD. He finally found one that boosts their immune system and makes them immune to its effects.   By using the computer system to analyze and predict the changes in the genome, its side-effects, and benefits. He’s been able to plot the changes that were made to their genome and decide how to change them back. Possibly to jump-start their evolution how it should have been. This will reverse their regeneration and help them become what they should have been by now in their timeline.

Transmission & Vectors

This infectious viral RNA is highly contagious but not dangerous. It passes by any bodily fluids, and quickly went airborne. None of those infected have received any serious side effects. A few side effects include color blindness, loss of taste or smell, prematurely gray hair, or something similar.

Treatment

Urtho has decided to use infectious viral RNA to introduce his cure. He tested it on a subject to see how fast the effects were felt. This virus is more contagious than the common flu, but not as dangerous. The only effects are a slight fever, fatigue, and hunger. This is caused by the RNA rewriting (correcting) the subjects’ DNA back how it was supposed to be. Similar to how GSD worked this is an inherited effect and any children born with pass it down the line.
