Feather Weight

Casting Time: 1 bonus action, or 1 reaction which you take when you or a living humanoid creature within 60 feet of you falls

Classes: Bard, Druid, Ranger, Sorcerer, Wizard

The target living humanoid has their weight reduced to 1 lb for the duration of the spell, not including equipment or things being carried or worn.

For the duration of the spell, if the target falls their rate of descent slows to 60 feet per round and as a bonus action or as a reaction the target can glide horizontally through open air 10 feet in any direction as part of their descent. If the target lands before the spell ends, they take no falling damage and can land on their feet. Additionally, for the duration of the spell the target's walking speed is increased by 5 feet and the target's jump distance is doubled (but cannot exceed the target's available movement).

However, for the duration of the spell the target has disadvantage on the following:

• All grappling related checks.
• All unarmed attacks and weapon attacks.
• All saving throws to resist being shoved or knocked prone. On a failed save to resist being shoved, the distance the target is moved is increased by 5 feet.

A target can make a Constitution saving throw when the spell is cast on them, with success causing the spell to have no effect. Additionally, a target that is under the effect of the spell can make a Constitution saving throw at the start of each of their turns, with success ending the spell.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the spell's duration becomes 10 minutes. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the spell's duration becomes 1 hour. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the spell's duration becomes 8 hours. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 8th level or higher, the spell's duration becomes 1 day.
