Create Stone

9th level conjuration
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 1000 feet
Target: See text
Components: S
Duration: Instantaneous
Classes: Druid, Sorcerer, Wizard
You create up to 100 10-foot by 10-foot by 10-foot permanent sections of stone arranged as you wish at any valid point within range. Any sections of stone that touch each other fuse into a single contiguous mass. Each section must either be anchored to solid earth or be fused to other sections that (eventually) are. The stone created by this spell flows into existence from seemingly nowhere but originates from solid earth and rapidly pushes outward and / or upward to acheive the form chosen by you nearly instantly.
The stone may have a rough and natural or polished and carved finish of a type of stone of your preference (marble, granite, etc). You may choose to cause any of the sections to take up less space in any of its three dimensions, but no smaller than 2-inches by 2-inches by 2-inches. You may also shape any of the sections as necessary to make steps, windows, arches, doors, curves, and other simple forms.
The stone made by this spell is not magical and can be damaged, but is remarkably durable. Each 10-foot by 10-foot section has AC 19 and 50 hit points per inch of thickness. Reducing a section to 0 hit points destroys it and might cause connected sections to collapse at the DM’s discretion.
This spell can make walls or other basic fortifications, domiciles, natural-looking rock formations, ramps, bridges across a chasm (as long as both sides are anchored to solid earth), or any other sort of stone objects or structures you can imagine within the volume of created stone available to you. This spell could even be used to create stone risers beneath one or more willing creatures, raising them above surface level as a sort of elevator.
Any creature that is not incapacitated in a space where a section created by this spell appears may use its reaction to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a success, it can move up to its speed so that it is no longer enclosed by the stone (if possible). Otherwise, any such creature is pushed to one side of the stone or is lifted upon it (your choice). You can potentially trap or push a creature around with this spell in this way, but you may not crush them.
Alternately, you may cast this spell on an existing stone structure, in which case an equivalent volume of stone fuses together, repairing and (if you wish) remodeling the existing structure following the guidance already given. In this case each 10-foot by 10-foot section gains AC 19 and 50 hit points per inch of thickness regardless of what AC and hit points it previously had, and you may either have the stone retain its original overall look or change it to have a rough and natural or polished and carved finish of a type of stone of your preference (marble, granite, etc).
