John Ryan

John Ryan (a.k.a. Doc)

Dr. John Ryan, MD is/was a medical doctor in the US Army on Earth, prior to the incident that sent him into Xeovis along with everyone else.
On Xeovis, he presents as an orc, with green skin and bulging muscles and a large physique, wearing the Healer's Regalia of The Unknown Isles, after receiving them from the Isle of the Unknown (Onin) before his dungeon dive to train. He is a talented healer on earth, very competent with his battlefield medicine, but things are different on Xeovis, with the ability to use magical healing, and needed to learn how to merge his earth knowledge with magical knowledge.

Earth

Dr. John Ryan is an Army Reserve Medic who works for the company that is creating the game that Doc eventually becomes part of.

Xeovis

Doc's appearance causes waves within Saurey upon his arrival, though he is not immediately attacked, since orcs and elves are not at war. He was led to the city thanks to the notification that was sent out upon the founding/completion of the city. He is vetted by T, who by nature of him being a leonid, understands the struggle of being incredibly different from everyone else around, and is given a place to stay in the shared apartment with Relyt.

The Library

Doc's struggles within the library were hard at first, but then he began to excel, eventually learning to combine his spells and medical knowledge. The time spent in the dungeon was incredibly helpful to his acclimation to the new world in which he lives.
