Ard-Ri (ah-or-dr-ee)

Ard-ri is the title of the High Chieftain / High King of the Orcs in Carildeia.
This title is only two hundred years old, created after many of the clans banded together and eventually unified the clans into a kingdom. The Ard-ri of the United Kingdom of Carildeia is the highest authority, but the clans of the nation may act on their own in many respects, and are only required to pay a tithe of food, supplies, and levies to the ard-ri instead of gold.
