The Great Strife

The Great Strife was a war fought across the whole of Cartyrion over two thousand years ago. A struggle that began as a disagreement in the heavens among the gods quickly spilled over to the world itself as the devotees of the gods involved took up the causes of their patrons. The war between the followers of the Gods of Consent and the Gods of Coercion raged for just over two hundred years before the former won a victory. But this was not before Cartyrion and its Folk witnessed devastation on a scale not imaginable before - many scars of which remain two thousand years later.
