The Four Families of Endmere

The city of Endmere is ruled by the hereditary heads of the families of the Four Founders. They all hate each other, but they respect each other. While these hereditary heads are effectively "the Law" in Endmere, the rest of the families are generally free to do what they want - including plot and act against each other.
