Sylvanus Braveheart

This week on Exploring the Unknown:
AN INTERVIEW WITH SYLVANUS BRAVEHEART

Recorded by The Scribe

Featuring:
  • Sylvanus Braveheart
*The Scribe:*
“Hello hello! We are back with another exclusive interview- with the god Sylvanus Braveheart! So Mr. Braveheart, want to introduce yourself to the crowd?”
  *Sylvanus:*
“Greetings, and you can just call me Sylvanus.”
  *The Scribe:*
“Ah, of course Mr. Braveheart- I mean Sylvanus. Now can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your abilities?”
  *Sylvanus:*
“I am the god of rivers, shapeshifting, and sensing, and I have been for over a thousand years. Over that time, I’ve seen a variety of beautiful and interesting things whilst on my quest.”
  *Scribe:*
“Ah, your quest. Would you care to explain to the audience about what this quest entails, and how it has been going?”
*Sylvanus:* “Oh yes. This quest of mine is quite a long one, and practically never ending.
Although I brought this quest upon myself, so I really shouldn't be complaining.
For what my quest entails, I am tasked to explore the known lands, and to find all sorts of interesting and disturbing artifacts.”
    *Scribe:*
“Ah, that indeed sounds quite interesting and fun! Now, I hear that you gaining godhood was part of this quest, was it not? Would you care to explain some of the details of that?”
*Sylvanus:* “Ah, well I don't quite remember a whole lot of that time, but I was basically tasked by the Goddess Rose, to deliver an ancient tome to the Goddess Starlight.
I also met another young man on my journey as well, a young man that went by the name of Zamathis.
He was also tasked by the goddess Rose to deliver an artifact to Starlight, and this artifact as an ancient staff.
It was indeed a long journey, but when we arrived at the site, Starlight and Zirichion themselves were waiting there. They then gifted us godhood, and we were gifted the artifacts as well.”
  *Scribe:*
“Oh wow, that sounds quite exciting, and now for my final question. What drives you to explore?”
  *Sylvanus:*
“The thing that drives me to explore? Hmm… That would probably be the thrill I get from exploring new places, and finding ancient temples or ruins that look like they haven't been explored for hundreds of years. It is a very pleasant feeling.”
  *Scribe:*
“Ah, that makes sense. And that is it for my questions, we don't want to take up any more of your time. Thank you for coming to the interview today Sylvanus, and I hope you have a great day. A round of applause for Sylvanus Braveheart everyone!”
And that is it for today folks, I hope you enjoyed today's interview. And that's all for now! See you next time on, Exploring the unknown!”
Sylvanus is the wandering god of Shapeshifting, rivers, and sensing magic. He is revered as a major god in Kathrir, while in Valyria he is considered only a minor god. This doesn't seem to concern him, as his main focus is always elsewhere.

I second Wordigirl's comment about the interview format, and I like that you can kind of hear the Scribe's interviewer voice through the writing.I'm very interested to know more about Sylvanus' task to deliver the ancient tome, and Zamathis as well (I tried searching for a Zamathis article but I couldn't find it, so I'm guessing it has yet to be written. :D

Aaa thank you so much! I still need to write more about his task, and also just write Zamathis's article as well, and I'll probably start working on them once I have the time. I'm so happy you enjoyed the article! :D
