Eastern Forest - Scholar Report

We failed to find detailed records of the eastern forest. All we know is that the locals had their own manually maintained forestry areas. While not documented why, it's clear that they chose to not venture deep into the forest. As for the forester woods, we can report that the trees were bred to grow tall and quick. They also are said to dry quickly, making them well suited for our lumber needs.   The forest seems to have a small mountain river as water source, which turns into countless creeks while going through the dense woods. At the edge of the dense woods, many of these creeks lead directly into the nearby river. The river itself is slow but wide, allowing for its use to transfer cut trees to downriver camps.
