Deep Stew

Made from the Deep Shroom and luminiscent moss, this meal is a favourite of miners. Not only does it break the monotony of consuming rations, when prepared the right way it also provides energy and a temporary boost to one's vision.   Exactly when one should eat the stew is a matter of debate, which actually has led to conflict in miner groups. Some say it should be consumed as breakfast, to benefit as much as possible from its advantages. Others argue that as a hearty meal it should be consumed as social dinner before having a peaceful rest. All do agree that as a special treat, one should eat it at most once a day.   An important factor of the stew is the gray moss. This is boiled together with the deep shrooms, so that the coal from the shrooms is absorbed by the moss instead. The moss is then scooped out, so that the stew tastes less like coal.
