To those living in the valley, I call for your help. I call you to arms.
Life in the valley isn't easy, for as much as it saved us, at least as much we still face tough challenges. We must prepare new lands, gather more resources, but at the same time we must safeguard that which we already have. Those we already have. With terror birds and vicious wolves, as well as yet unknown threats, all out there the army is stretched thin. If we push too far, we may come back to lives lost that could have been kept safe.
As such, we need your aid. We ask all citizens to receive training once every four days, so that they can better defend themselves. Even the young we ask, at the very least to train with slings so that they can fend off attacks. If we know the people can hold off the lesser threats by themselves, it will allow us to focus on the greater threats.
To aid in the training, we ask all scouts to also frequently report for training, not as students but as teachers. Your experience will help greatly with training the people. While this will not receive as much a reward as explorations, once more resources are discovered we will do our best to make better armaments available for you as well.
Together, we made it to this valley. Together, we can make it despite all the danger. I await your support.
Sir Robinridge, Commander of the Wooden Shields
