Not much is known about the iris to the common man, only whispers and hearsay, like soft petals falling off a lone tree. For those who know the iris it is known as the largest criminal organisation in Valencia, running roots from the common thieves of small towns to the larger groups of cities, always having a hand in something with or without people knowing. The Iris communicates in flowers and soft gestures, not much is known about their work outside the guild except their name and notoriety. The layman will know if the iris is involved only once their job is done in which they will place a black iris to indicate they were there, even still this only happens if the iris want their presence known to people. No one outside the iris knows who runs the organisation, If its an individual or a collective group, even still there is one thing known about the iris, they are ever virulent and ever present. If you want a job done right and you know the right people to ask, you may be able to contact the iris, however for most people, you don't contact the iris. The iris contacts you.
To those who are unlucky to know the iris they may know that the iris are Located in the City of Zladen in the north wester Isles of Valencia. The Black iris once a small Blip to the People of the City now Run the Islands of the North with a Silver tongue and a black hand in every matter. The Iris is split into 5 leaders, known as the Seeded Counsel, most importantly Poppy the Self Proclaimed Leader who is most commonly known as ‘The VineWeaver’ the leader of the Guild.  The other counsel members are split into running 4 factions of the iris. The Thieves of the four leafed Clover, The Daisy chain Assassins, The Lilac beggar & The Charlatans Rose.  Like the iris itself the leaders of the counsel take the titles of their respective guilds, Heather is the title for the Thieves faction, Buttercup for the Assasins, Lilly for the Lilic beggars & Dandelion for the charlatans rose.
