The Lin-Kin

Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The Lin-Kin is a radical druidic order who deem all forms of Arcane and Divine Magic—excluding their own druidic traditions—to be unnatural. Their primary objective is the preservation of wilderness, extending even to the rejection of common agricultural practices, which they consider disruptive to the natural balance. While they generally favor non-violent methods, more extreme factions within the Lin-Kin are willing to employ acts of terrorism to further their cause.

Structure

The Lin-Kin typically travel in small, nomadic groups throughout the Það Endruvu.

Culture

While the Lin-Kin as a whole maintain a neutral alignment, individual members, particularly within the more radical factions, are more inclined toward evil than good.   The Lin-Kin eschew armor, considering it an artificial reliance of civilized societies. However, they do utilize forged metal weaponry. Their sustenance is primarily derived from hunting, fishing, and foraging. They collect trophies from defeated foes, such as demon horns or wizard staves, which are then incorporated as ornate ornaments into their ceremonies. The seniority of a member is often reflected in the number and elaborateness of their trophies, crafted from their most formidable adversaries.   The Lin-Kin demonstrate a degree of tolerance toward those who seek to minimize civilization's impact on the natural world, but they readily ostracize those who demonstrate excessive indulgence in civilized practices that harm nature.
