The Concordant Voices
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The Concordant Voices are a loosely structured society of bards with a presence throughout Theras. Membership is theoretically open to any bard, barring those who have wronged another member. However, actual affiliation is selective; many bards are either unaware of the Voices' existence or have chosen not to join.
Culture
The Voices maintain a high degree of discretion, concealing their meeting places, known as Concordant Havens.
These Havens often masquerade as ordinary inns or taverns, with Voices blending seamlessly into the surroundings as patrons or performers. Within these Havens, a strict code of neutrality and harmony prevails: members are expected to suspend all personal conflicts, treating the location as inviolable safe ground. This principle is rigorously enforced, enabling even sworn enemies to interact cordially within the confines of a Haven. While the locations of these Havens remain closely guarded secrets, members often embed subtle clues within their songs, rewarding those who possess the insight to decipher their lyrics.
It should be noted that while many deities are revered there, each culture, actually venerates its own god of music and entertainment with Adis the prominent of all of them.
