Tel’Valaur Saelari
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
I saw the fire before I was born. I saw the hour of my death before I learned to ride. I do not fear what waits—my flames have already burned there.Tel’Valaur Saelari, also known These warrior-seers ride phoenixes into battle, their eyes clouded by visions of destiny. They are both executioners of divine will and interpreters of ancient omens. Unlike other Phoenix riders, those are considered the most dangerous as they are not mere Wizards or Magi. They are warrior, sometimes Oracles, who can ride the phoenixes.
Composition
Tactics
They are mostly known for their abilities to manipulate the battlefields due to their prophetic foresight, using ashstorms and blinding light to disorient enemies and even commiting sacrificial duels during lunar eclipses to fulfill or change a prophecy (Which they proclaimed).
While sometimes their Phoenixes self-immolate and ressurect, creating tremendous detonations, the Saelari are often immune to that immolations.
History
Legend claims the first Oracle was born from flame after witnessing the death of a celestial stag. Since then, the Oracles have been bound to both fire and fate.
