The Talynborn are the direct descendants of Talyn, Eagle-King, whose name is remembered in myth as the first to forge the sacred pact with the elves. Unlike mere beasts of war, Talynborn Eagles are sapient beings, proud and wise, and are considered sovereign allies of the Elves, not steeds. Their talons have clashed in legendary wars and their wings have carried prophecy and vengeance alike.

They scorn the clamor of fools and fly only with the silence of purpose. If one should deign to fly beside you, know that it is not you who summoned them - it is the battle itself that caught their notice.

Their Signature attack is the dive upon enemy siege crews, disabling devastating weapons and their vision, allow them to act as forward scouts and airborne commanders.
It is said that many a times, after they strike, they ascent on thermal winds faster than retaliation can be mounted.
