Strebetris

Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Strebetris, Strebetris,
Gather your clouds,
darken your skies,

Strebetris, Strebetris!
Tense your drum,
Unwind your chain!

Strebetris! Strebetris!

Let thunder roar!
Let lightning strike!
Let storms rage!

Strebetris! Strebetris!

Strebetris is the Prasri god of thunder, lightning, and storms. He is known as a capricious deity, prone to bouts of both mayhem and benevolence.

Roles

Strebetris has several inter-deific roles, depending on the pantheon and the belief system.   In Hantzuism, he is perceived as a messenger god, especially between the elemental lords - Akadi, Grumbar, Istishia and Kossuth.   In Prasri and Bascaxi Animism, Strebetris is an unaligned deity, both at odds and in cahoots with all deities.   In the Ursevnis Pantheon, he takes the role of a trickster god and an agent of chaos; in addition, he complements Kord's lightning with the thunder from his drum.
