Session 91 - Hunting Blood Mages - Part 2
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
General Summary
Act 1
Henry went by himself to talk with the elves. Max Atlas follows him from behind as a backup, in case things went sour.When Henry meets an elf guard, he shows him the latter he received from Lauren, who is the She-elf who is supposedly the leader of the Blood Mages that survived the Dorili Genocide, and then ask the guard to lead him to her. Henry doesn't hesitate in his status and call himself the king of the High elves. The elf laughs about the “king” part but lead Henry towards Laruen. The elf takes him through a stone wall that later is reviled to be an earth Elemental, and this is how they get to the lair of the elves. In the lair he meets an elf he knows from his childhood. He sees Loran at the top of a throne and convinces her to collaborate. Henry receives from her 10 crossbolts that with them, he could communicate with the elves as the bolt could fly at a speed of 100 ft' per second.. In the meantime, an elf comes out to meet Max and tell him that Henry will be out in a while. Max is sure he id been deceived that Henry was kidnapped and charge toward the elf who s to escape in time with the Earth Elemental.
Act 2
Friedrich decides to leave the party and Avaras gives him a single gold coin for the journey. When Henry comes back, the party agrees to meet with the elves but in the open and not in their lair. Lorens comes out and talks to the party. They reach an agreement to go against the Kadian Dominion and that the elves will give them information. In addition, they talk about the possibility that the elves will move to the barony of Hirch Thani, there they will not be hunted.There is a problem that the party made a commitment to hunt the elves and Lauren suggested to send us with some elves’ corpses. Additionally, a mock battle with a traitor to the elves, who goes by the name of Loras, was arranged so the hunt will look more convincing. Avaras and Max fought against the elf wizard. The elf cast confusion on Max and as a result Max attacked Avaras. Avaras manage to slay the wizard and got Remus to dispel the magic casted on Max, before he finishes Avaras off.
