Power Stone

Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Power Stone, also known as Power Stone of the Fey or Othea's Tears, is a magical item that can augment a humanoid by tapping into their very being, making them a more distinct version of themselves. It is unknown how a power stone can be created or reproduced.   Most attribute the existence of power stone to the will of the deities; however, there are a mere handful of individuals, such as Kiras, that could create such a stone. Legends say that only the Fey Eladrin have them, or atleast used to have them; today it is the common belief that Celestial Eladrin create the majority of the stones. It is important to note that these beliefs are exaggerations at best, and are considered by most scholars to be assumptions that are yet to be proven.

Utilizing the Stone

Using the stone is a strenuous act, as it acts on the user’s soul, consuming their inner blood (Anima) and bores into their identity (Genius). It realigns both aspects, causing them to synergize rather than merely complement; in other words, it empowers the user to be 'more of themselves'.   For example, a Dragonborn that uses such stone, if analyzed by magic, will be recognized both as a Dragon as well as a Humanoid; a Druid will become wiser and more observent; a parent will grow more fond of their child.   The stone is dissolved into the user’s body and soul; it cannot be retrived nor can its effects be reversed, except by the effects of Wish or Miracle.   Interaction between non-affiliated users to the Fey as documented in Sophia-Hold
The Stones of Stones of Power as inert shards of Fey energy. When mortalsinfuse themselves with this power, they become closer to the Feywild.
Interaction between Dragons and Stones of Power as documented in Sophia-Hold.
Dragons belong to the bones of the world; the blood that flows through their veins is the same blood as the very essence of the earth; it is pure magic, in liquid form. In other words, dragons are real, and they cannot be pulled out of this world, and into another, specifically, the Feywild. Therefore, when dragons infuse themselves with power from the Stones of Power, the fey energy in the stones permanently shifts and transforms into primal energy. It is a powerful, irreversible, and dangerous transformation. Dragons would not undergo such a process without extreme need, since it harms their very important idea of independence.
