Mohrg

Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
Mohrgs are a type of undead that spontaneously rise from the corpses of mass murderers who died without atoning for their evil acts; it is unknown whether not being given the opportunity to atone causes the reanimation, or unwillingness to atone.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Mohrgs are usually skeletal, with their soft tissues, save for some exceptions, rotting away by the time they reanimate. Their intestines and trachea are perfectly preserved; not only they show no sign of necrosis, but they also continuously writhe and worm, as if still living.   A mohrg's trachea fuses with their intestines at one end and forms sharp talon-like protrusions on its other end. This newly formed organ, simply referred to as the mohrg's tongue, can extend up to one foot away from the creature's mouth, and then use the talons to paralyze a victim.

Genetics and Reproduction

Mohrgs are created strictly through spontaneous reanimation; as such, they cannot reproduce. However, those killed by a mohrg are reanimated as zombies that are under the mohrg's complete control.
