The story of Likisa's Card Set
As the daughter of the high wizard high of the enchanters' order of kingdom of Arasil, Likisa grown somewhat alone. Her father felt he is the reason of her solitude, so he tried to cheer her up a bit, trying to do so with an enchanted card set he made for her. Not too long after Likisa grown bored of playing with the cards that play themselves. so, as she learned from her father that innovation comes through trial and error, she started to experiment with the cards, first she tried to burn them with a candle, and saw fire doesn't affect them, then she tried submerging them in water to see if something happens to them, and they were unharmed. Then She snuck into her father study and stole two unidentified vials, nothing happened to the cards, yet some liquid dropped on the table, and that table crumbled into ash, and by that she discovered some of the many fantastical qualities of the cards that her father created. then, not quite happy with the results she got so far, she tried cutting the cards with shears, and the shears bent, yet not a scratch happened to the cards. So, she tried throwing them out of her window, and the cards came back right to her palm. Not long before when she passed away, she gave cards to guard that kept her safe all those years. That guard, had sacrificed the cards to keep her company in the realms ahead, not known to him that the cards cannot burn.The very next day a local kid found a perfect set of cards sitting untop a pile of ashes outside the shrine of the village, took them to himself and sold them to a wandering merchant for a single gold coin. Those cards tend to give their holders luck, in the field they need it.
