Labyrinth of Ashes

the Labyrinth of Ashes is the colloquial given name to the underground A'shiraf'sirizeen superstructure of immense volume beneath the demesne. Its entrances are seen above ground as ravines veined with brooks of lava.
The labyrinth has earned its name by the number of volcanic eruptions and explosions that it had produced.
It is said that when an unworthy sojourner enters its premises, the halls and corridors of the labyrinth fill up with ungodly amounts of magmalike molten liquids.
Purpose / Function
In order to settle Major disputes between the four houses, each clan sends its delegate or waives its right, the clans delegate that comes back from the labyrinth alive rewards its clan the right to decide the dispute.
all but territorial disputes are resolved this way.
