Personal history
Oggoliat was born to the Kag'er clan in the hills north of Noorkivheid, and was notably violent, even when compared to other hill giants, to such an extent that he was exiled from his clan in his youth. During this time, he had to fend for himself, hunting orcs and goblins among others; not much else is known about this period.
In 1012, when the Gontal Streitkräfte started moblizing south, Oggoliat was pressed into the brecherriesen, but refused to follow orders. Together with other problematic members, he was sent to lead the first wave of attack.
However, Oggoliat proved to be not only more durable than expected, but also more cunning. What was supposed to be a suicide charge turned into a succssful assault; Oggoliat ordered the other giants to hurl boulders at a specific location on the wall, causing the rocks to stack up into a battery. He then rushed forth, and was the first to scale the northern wall of Noorkivheid, climbing atop the rubble and boulders.
King
Oggoliat's title as "king" is self proclaimed, and isn't recognized by the Dark Lord of Gontal nor by most other giants. To legitimize his claim, Oggoliat holds yearly challenges, where he fights claimants to his throne. These claimants are almost always either picked or approved by Oggoliat, though on rare occasions some true challengers appear to make their claim. To date, all challengers were defeated by Oggoliat, who makes sure to fashion them into grim trophies. His crown is made of the femures of his enemies, while their skulls are added to the royal pile, a pile of skulls in the hills north of Noorkivheid.
