Day of Bleach and Blood

Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The Day of Bleach and Blood is a Ciami festival that takes place once every three generations (usually 60-70 years), where Neean and Mnasne die and reincarnate. During their death, the Ciami people revel in complete anarchy; the festival has been described as “a violent orgy of unrestrained urges where orgasms are as common as bodily harm”.

Execution

The date of the day itself is never known in advance; at sunrise, a herald of the godly queens calls for residents of the theocracy to gather at the great temples in Anhim and Piris. Then, Neean appears in front of Mnasne's throne, and says the following:
Sister!
Sister!
We have forgotten our place!
It is time for the blood!
My fury to face!
Neean then proceeds to disembowel Mnasnse with a ritualistic dagger, flay her, anoint herself with Mnasne's blood, and cover herself with strips of her skin. She then leaves Piris, and walks back to Anhim; as she sits on her throne, Mnasne's voice echoes in Neean's temple:
All is in motion!
It is time for the bleach!
Here we belong lest you forget!
Sister!
Sister!
Mnasne's blood calcifies and turns white, locking Neean in place, as the strips of Mnasne's skin crawl into Neean's orifices and tear her apart from inside. This marks the start of the festivities.   At the next sunrise, female revelers who have participated in orgies will discover that they have been impregnated. The first among them to reach a temple will promptly go into labor, and give birth to either Neean or Mnasne by midday.
