Bahrimal Desert
Ervenian Era, 1051 AB
The Bahrimal Desert is a desert in western Rakion, known for its hazardous conditions, aggrevated by unstable interactions of physical elements.
Localized Phenomena
The sand of Bahrimal behaves almost as a liquid, with dunes moving as waves and strong sand currents. The shifting nature of the sand makes it all but impossible to traverse, as most creatures and vessels sink beneath the sands.
The hot desert air is characterized by constant winds, who may vary in strength, but are always present. Occasionally destructive whirlwinds may form, and can last for several days.
The moving sand, the constant winds, joined by unusually hot and arid climate, make the Bahrimal completely barren. It has no oases, no animals, and no plants.
