Ashen Barrier

The Ashen Barrier, also known as Popelyasta Mezha, is a stretch of land between the Demesene of A'shiraf'sir and the Kingdom of Nakilnul. The barrier is a basin in which the volcanic ashes of A'shirafsir sink, and is delimited to the south by two overlapping ridges of stalagmites jutting from the earth, which filter the noxious fumes and prevent them from advancing further into Nakilnul.
