Druidry Physical / Metaphysical Law in Theme Test | World Anvil

Druidry

Savagery, instinct, and cunning are what the beasts of Ravare rely upon to survive this merciless realm. These three traits make up the core philosophy of the School of Druidry. By consuming the natural Ichor found within these beasts, and even their fellow man, Druids grow in power with each successful hunt.

Specializations

Savagery

In the wilderness, there is no time for mercy, no second chances at life. It is either to consume or to be consumed. Focusing on creatures such as the bears, shark, or crocodile those that follow the Path of Savagery are driven by the need to hunt, to kill, to consume.
Specialization Traits:
  • Power gained through consumption of both beast and man.
  • Spells that allow warping into half-beast monstrosities.

Instinct

Survival is not a right given to you, you must earn it at birth. Without instincts, you are nothing more than cattle to the predators of the world. Taking the traits of beasts such as the tiger, eagle, or serpent those that follow the Path of Instinct become fearsome warriors and even more terrifying hunters.
Specialization Traits:
  • Power gained through hunting specific creatures in an almost religious manner.
  • Natural skills developing to aid in stealth, hunting, and tracking.

Cunning

Man did not become the apex predator of his realm by simply being the largest. Knowledge is just as powerful as any hidden claw or sharpened fang. Learning from the great hunters such as the hyena, wolf, or owl those that follow the Path of Cunning understand the way the world works and how to use it to their advantage.
Specialization Traits:
  • Power gained through the study of both beasts and nature itself.
  • The ability to leech the power from man or beast through bloody sacrifice.
A School of Magic.
