Dear Stelsor, Your friendship is as stalwart as it is rare in this time of tumult and hardship.
Our friends in Y'danna were working to reestablish law and order, when the Empire of Prasad, blood of dragons all, chose to intervene, and sent their Dragon killers to us.
We escaped, and I am entertaining entreaties from the Lover, from the Silver Prince and from Black Heron, in order to find the best offer for the people of the Dreaming Sea.
My own lands in Sharanvar almost rose in rebellion over my lack of loyalty to the Lover, but I have been able to find a safe place in Stygia, under the protection of Lady Persimmon, to keep the heir of Y'danna that we hope to restore to that place.
My own ties to the Lover are hardly my only ties now, but they are the strongest, for she is the one that exalted me.
You are chosen, and now so am I. I am working with many chosen who are hiding their gifts, and biding their time, against the perversion that is the Pure Way.
Your succor to the people of Thorns does you credit, as does the support to the more humble denizens of Nexus.
I don't know these people of thorns personally, but if I'm reading from context, I believe you mean the Company of Martial Sinners, who are strongly advocating for the new management in Thorns and would be called war criminals in any other place.
I hope Yurumi is good, she is taking so many risks, and her Lunar Exaltation is strong, but not infinite, I worry for her, and I also worry our brothers would take advantage of any weakness of hers to influence her. Protect her while I cannot, please.
My brothers and I are more akin to those Company of Martial Sinners deadbeats than I'd like to admit, we have been touched by death, and changed beyond hope of salvation.
On the topic of books, I love books, and if you could send them, on a caravan, I would buy one, and for each one I'd buy, I'd try to send one to read or sell on a caravan back to Nexus.
You are strong, and have established a presence in Nexus that impresses many of the ambassadors of death and others in the trade of Embassies and Kings.
