Kratofil the Wise's ledger
"It's just a bloody book, buy your own!" Kratofil the Wise. "In here, I record the passengers I've carried over the quicksilver sea. Steel Vixen seems not to approve of the recording, she says some secrets are better unwritten, I feel she is right, but how else would anyone know how clever I am?" "Well, the young girl seems to know something about secrets, it seems, once someone else knows them, she's right, they're not so secret." Addendum, by Flying Eiderdown aka Seline, chosen of Jupiter: "Kratofil was a sweet boffin, and naive. And tainted Aryeon 'The Striding Lion' Arizona's mind, it seems. They both went down, in unrecorded places, with Little Cloud's participation unmentioned. But I knew. Little Cloud was no dynast's prize, Little Cloud had swung battles in the Distinguished General of the West's favor, and equally, in the August General of the East's direction. Yu-Shan called dibs on it. Counted it among the Quicksilver fleet of battles, with chosen of battles and journeys to guide it swiftly to where it must go. The Bureau of Fate recorded it's passing on the Pattern Spider's webs, and called it momentous, and significant. Little Cloud's siege abilities had turned battles against Primordials, and slain what were now Neverborn. The Green Lady and I alone knew which. And we're not telling. But you may speculate, and, well, it's not like Neverborn are a dime a dozen, are they? We are arguing, again, over whether or not we're overreacting. Little Cloud is a sore subject. The Quicksilver Fleet of Heaven is a sore subject. I am still new at my job. I am the assistant-director of the Directorate of Secrets of the Bureau of Fate, I am the youngest-ever assigned to such a post at 35. And I am training a chosen of Secrets who's only 29. She will outstrip me, possibly, her exaltation was borne by Chejop Kejak, she was trying to fill some pretty big shoes, shoes that hadn't needed filling since the Usurpation, I could be patient. Of help to those that read this, Kratofil was insistent on ascertaining the nature of every guest he allowed to use his ship, none ventured on it without his explicit knowledge of their nature. Whether they were on official business or not, they had to agree to his magical sight."List of notable passengers from a cursory scan:
