Haizei Branched Skull Vine

Captain of Warship Wyldwind.

"Before you ask, I walked into the wyld, in the city of arms, once. One of the arms grabbed me, while another grafted this vine onto my forehead. It grows, and I hurt if I don't give it water, or avoid sunlight too long... You wanted to see me, Talonmaster... Adelon?"

"Yes, thank you for making time, Haizei..."

"I accept Haizei Vine, I was born Settanto Kiviri, but that man died in the wyld when I exalted."

"Haizen Vine then. I..."

"I have patrons higher up, I know why you're here... Let's get your questions out of the way."

"Oh. Well, what contact have you had with foreigners lately?"

"None, I had to go back to the city of arms, like I do every ten years to shrink the vine, and I don't need to tell you one doesn't go there for the company."

"What about foreign ambassadors, dignitaries?"

"My family entertained a commercial delegation from Chiaroscuro, but I wasn't home and didn't meet them. I'm sure you know of the Ambassadors' visits to Wyldwind..."

"I've been wondering about that, why were you temporarily replaced at the head of Wyldwind for that?"

"I wasn't, I was just asked to captain her from shore, since she was pretending to be a sailing ship, and that posed no difficulty. My officers all knew their jobs, while Demand-the-presence-of-a-God, Burano Barracuda and Akatha Sunderpoint and their seconds-in-command did competently in acting like a flag bridge and entertaining the dignitaries. I presume they objected to my vibe, sorry my vine..."

"Ah." Adelon chuckled. "Well, remain at the Academy, I will come back if I have more questions..."
