General Summary

Scene: Dreamflower during the return banquet at 12 Carnelian Peaches

Dreamflower checks in with Luxana, goddess of written records.

Luxana is well-pleased by our current activities.

Our printing efforts have grown. We have 4 printing press orders that have built up in our recent absence.

Dreamflower asks if there are any minor deities in her purview that we could also promote.

Luxana remarks that it is wonderful that Chalai is developing into a more powerful spirit.

She mentions that Chalai is so much more amenable than her father (Wa-Se-Get).

Dreamflower suggests possibly inviting Wan-Se-Get, god of Tea of the Centre to visit Nexus, but Luxana warns the city might not survive.

Scene: Bushy in the alleys of Nexus

Bushy Tale in Autumn Breezehears a loud wolf-howl in the distance and soon a very large wolf-hound turns down the alley Bushy is in.

Bushy, in human form, sizes up this Lunar with little to no fear. If she wanted him dead, she wouldn't have announced her arrival.

The wolf transforms back into the Yurumi Maldi.

Bushy is surprised by the swift response from The Silver Pact.

Yurumi explains there are at least 12 Silver Pact leaders meeting on the outskirts of the city.

Bushy has traveled from Great Forks. Yurumi refers to it as the city of slaves; "Among other things." replies Bushy.

Yurumi suggests Bushy will want to meet the leader of the local cult of Autochthon (Fortifier).

Yurumi recommends Bushy visit the Silver Pact meeting. She would lead him there but says she has to return to Y'danna (a nation she has a Major Intimacy toward).

Yurumi drops the detail that her shahan-ya resides in Marin Bay.

Bushy transforms into a northern cardinal to fly to the Lunar meeting Yurumi mentioned.

Scene: Bushy at a cavern lit from within

Along the way, following the river, Bushy finds a cavern that is lit from within.

Two figures meet him. They are both Lunars and they recognize he is Lunar as well because the vibes of this place turn most people way.

The two are brother and sister. The sister comes off as slightly flirty which makes the brother is wary. They likely have a strong intimacy of protecting one another.

In the middle of it all, on a stone throne, looking powerfully bored, is an immense Lunar in his hybrid form. This is Tidetamer who stands and introduces himself.

Among the other Lunars present are Bears-Fangs-at-the-Sun and Anja Silverclaws who are sparring.

As they chat, Tidetamer inquires who inked Bushy's Moonsilver tattoos. Bushy says it was Sublime Danger of the Thousand Daiklave Wings.

The [Hawk Strikes True] and [Dove Defending Her Nest], the brother and sister from earlier, are presently casteless, staying with the Eternal Uncle while they await their moonsilver tattoos.

Scene: over-night summary

Fortifier spends the night taking inventory of what they will need to construct more printing presses

Dreamflower receives a message of introduction about Bushy from Tidetamer. She plans to track him down in the morning.

Scene: Next Morning at the Crane Caravan camp

Bushy is eating a simple meal of porridge when Dreamflower walks up and mentions their mutual acquaintance with Tidetamer.

Bushy says he came from Great Forks, sent by their ministries, to investigate the temples in Nexus.

Dreamflower is from Great Forks originally herself.

While Bushy eats, Dreamflower works with Chalai to prepare some wondrous tea.

Chalai, appearing as a small girl, introduces herself as Goddess of Tea of the Eastern Direction.

Upon meeting a goddess, Bushy straightens up and makes a formal bow.

Chalai is adorably flattered.

Bushy has a letter addressed to Dreamflower from Tidetamer.

Dreamflower wants to know more about Bushy’s mission.

Bushy explains he is interested in studying the way worship is handled in Nexus to compare and contrast.

Bushy’s particular speciality is the maintenance and care of temples.

Bushy and Dreamflower discuss the entertainment venues of the city and how her friend Stelsor has become something of an impresario.

Scene: Breakfast at 12 Carnelian Peaches

Stelsor is devouring a dozen ostrich eggs.

Rohen wakes up and Chef Eathylous Melisantianis asks for guidance in making a traditional Dreaming Sea breakfast.

Rohen is carrying around Tamed Rapids’s book of Hollow. Rohen has been studying it since last night and likely fell asleep reading it.

Stelsor notices the book Rohen has and they discuss it.

Rohen is extremely interested in these hollows on the map.

Stelsor and Dreamflower seem to recognize several as locations where we found the manses.

Rohen has never learned about manses, which shocks Dreamflower.

Chalai gives Bushy a tour of the mansion

When they reach the worship space on the 3rd floor, Bushy recognizes Sees Your Soul is inscribed among the other Alchemicals who consecrated the shrine.

They mention finding Fortifier.

Fortifier is late coming up to breakfast and gets a hug from Chalai when he arrives.

Fortifier meets Bushy and asks about how Sees Your Soul is doing.

Hearing Bushy’s mission involves visiting local temples, Fortifier mentions they should visit Haussmann Firewand who keeps the shrine to Silent Eyes in Coffleblock.

Dreamflower explains the nature of demesnes, manses and hearthstones to Rohen.

Rohen had thought to was planning to explore hollows today.

Dreamflower is exited to join him, but Fortifier reminds the group we have an appointment with the Court of the Crimson-Tailed Banner.

Scene: Kamthahar, capital of Prasad

Dreamflower transports us back to Prasad and we rendezvous with Jade Tongue.

Bushy Tail in Autumn Breeze and Jade Tongue, The Dyed Lady are formally introduced to one another.

The door is barred to us by Blood-in-the-Furrow but Jade Tongue vouches for us.

In addition to the spirits, there is someone from all 3 of Prasad’s Dragon Clans and 2 foreign nations.

Unlike most tribunals in Creation, the president of the court has no chair: Prikata Fang-Fall appears as a large cat made of steel, obsidian and lightning.

Having all 3 Dragon Clans present is unusual. Clan Akatha, sure, but Burano and Ophris are sort of out of place.

What would constitute a grievous faux pas?

Laughing-Rain Izu comes off as extremely proud.

Dreamflower is interested to know “what is not as it seems?”

The Burano was received on their own terms, not as a token representative of their Clan.

Burano Joh introduced herself to the court as the one who delivered Prasad’s terms to Y’danna.
