How do we smuggle 200 people out of the ziggurat?

Dreamflower and Fortifier work together to summon another earth elemental to help with digging the tunnel.

Group Elemental = We’ll have the elemental, who is carrying all the treasure and looted paperwork, dig a tunnel with 50 of them to Nightnail.

Most of the recognizable exalts will leave out this way as well.

Dreamflower, with her guild mask, and Steele Cast will take 50 slaves out the front door to through the streets to Nightnail. The other two groups of 50 will leave with the Lunars.

Stelsor and the Metody elementals will be the last to leave as they destroy the ziggurat

Rendezvous Scene

Groups A and C made it without issue. Group B is behind schedule and Group D hasn’t arrived yet.

Dreamflower sends an Infallible Messenger to check on Tidetamer.

She’s able to see that Tidetamer was being held up by some guards who were suspicious and didn’t like some of his answers. He was able to make it through in a bit though.

Fortifier recognizes that the freed slaves suffering from exposure to a toxin, so he systematically casts Flames of Unyielding Purity on batches of 10 slaves at a time until they are all cleansed.

Dreamflower sets about speaking to the group to learn more about them.

Though we have cleansed them of the Black Sunshine that was in them at the time, they may still be jonesing for it later.

Facilitator Grugni was the one that was running that ziggurat

Tidetamer had used the face of Facilitator Grugni for this whole infiltration.

We asked Tidetamer how he acquired the face of Grugni.

Apparently Tidetamer stole the face from infiltrating the Facilitator’s Office. Similar to Nest-Raiding Slyness from Lunars: Fangs at the Gate p. 179

This means that Grugni is still likely alive.

Black Sunshine is a downer drug, but people are still drawn to it.

Dreamflower pitches whether to teach them literacy. They are on board for this because they realize not knowing how to read was part of what got them

We’re considering if we should help them gain new identities.

Some were refugees from Thorns but most were locals of Nexus. The locals aren’t thrilled about leaving behind their culture and family ties still in Nexus.

Scene: Next morning

Seth Redthorn has been dealing with someone using his identity.

Seth was accused of roughing up a Black Arrow lieutenant and beating up priests in Firewander. He wasn’t doing either of these.

Fortifier is slightly suspicious of why Seth was at Nightnail first and not Carnelian Peaches.
