The Sabbat Worlds Crusade
What can I write about the Sabbat Worlds Crusade that hasn't been already written? It was one of the largest expenditures of military personnel in the fortieth millenium, until it was dwarfed by the Indomitus Crusade, which technically starts in the fortieth, before sprawling over much of the forty-first, depending on who you ask.The first official imperial operation in the crusade for the reconquest of the Sabbat Worlds was known as: it was followed by: Chaos counterattacked, which led to, in 765M41:
Despite this being a triumph, losing their warmaster did slow down the Imperial forces while they regrouped, assessed the new leader and decided to go forwards again.

The Sabbat Worlds began to see chaos incursions as early as 600M41, and by 754M41, after the Khulan Wars, Warmaster Slaydo's petitions were received on Terra and approved, with a remit for him to restore the Civitas Imperialis, i.e. the Imperial rule of law, on the sabbat worlds.
