Nymph

Nymphs are the physical byproduct of a spirit getting entangled witht he land and creating something beautiful out of it. Most nymphs are physical embodiments of a things spirit, like tree nymphs, rock nymphs, and water nymphs, where others are direct responses to grievences and pain brought to the land, manifesting as blood nymphs.   they are strange creatues, disconected from the rest of the world and its cultures. unlike spirits, they have no connection ot the cultures that surround them, only the earth and it's many gifts. they behave as such.

Biology

Being creatures of almost purely magic, their biology is not the easiest thing to pinpoint. still, people have tried.

Anatomy

The details of their anatomical figure depends on their origin, but there are overarching trends and themes. All nymphs take on humanoid appearances, with 2 legs, 2 arms, a long verticle torso, neck, and head all in the same place and proportion as a typical humanoid.   Now, Nymphs don't actually have differing sexes since they do not reproduce sextually. instead, they are called forth from the earth. In that, they typiclaly take on an androgenous appearance, staying lithe and small with confusing, elegant features that take on an etheral otherness.   In the same vein, when in a physical form, they are not made of flesh and blood. instead, thye are made of what thye were, only molded into a human visague.

Shifting

Every Nymph can and often will return to their orignal forms, those of trees, currents, and ashes whenever they want to. In these forms, they loose track of time as their sentience flees, almost as if they are asleep only ot be awoken when they are needed once again

Facial Features

Like their bodies, Nymph features tend to be androgenous in nature. feminine eyes, thick brows, well sized lips devoid of any poutieness, a strong yet narrow jaw. They are all arranged like a typicall humanoids without any additions as well. their likeness can often make their lack of flesh even more jarring in certain cituations.

Senses

Dietary Needs

As for typical foods, nymphs don't really eat. for sustinance, a nymph, as well as a spirit, is sustained on memories. the memories of the land and all it has seen, the memories on those that pass through, the stories old singers hum to
the sky. These sustain nymphs.   when being consumed, a golden glow takes to the memory, flowing from one creature to another and takeing on a phyicality similar to honey. the Nymph then takes it and drinks. any they don't finish, they bottle and sell to travlers. Most nymphs will only take happy memories, but Ash Nymphs were born of pain and as such must live on it.
Disclaimer
A nymph consuming memories does not take the memories from the person giving them, only brings them to the surface. this can be a pleasurable expirience for everyone involved when done correctly

Gender Identity

On the whole, the concept of a gender confuses a nymph. In their minds, there is no need for distinction when the whole works together to creat balance. since there is no need for sextual reproduciton and there for traditional families, there are no inherent power imballences or roles.   With thier nonunderstanding, being "misgendered" has little effect on them. they can and will go by any and all pronouns. when speaking of themselves, they typically use something completely other, like "Lii/Lye" which carries some symbolism form their collective heritage.

Beauty Ideals

Relationship Ideals

Courtship

Once again, there isn't a concept of romance. when the whole idea is explained to them, they often ask what the difference between friends and romantic partners would be if there wasn't sex involved, which most nymphs have no interest in. few can give them answers that thouroughly explain it.   Still, they understand the concept of a life partner. These are picked rarely, and a declaration of one is a big deal in nymphic communities. They are rare enough to be celebrated by an entire area and, once the promis has been made it can not be recinded. not even death will not part them.   some who have grown fond of their neighbors will try the idea of romance for a while, their elongated lives making it more of a game than a commitment. this in no way hinders their devotion to the other person, even if it is temporary.

Languages

Nymphs adopt the languages around where they are born. they tend to not have a racially based language, or one reserved just for their own use. instead, if a secret is needed to be passes, they communicate in ways where words have no place and meaning.

Dress Code

On a whole, nymphs typically forgoe the whole "clothing" thing. It makes for an unneeded hazard when traveling through things and, in their minds, is simply unneeded. They have nothing to hide, not physically anyway.   Those that do wear clothes do so only out of the insistance of others, usually travlors that are alarmed by nudeness. children they are considered, unable to deal with things that are real without squirming. still, they are obligued. even then, they rarely go further than a simple cloth covering, like a scarf drapped around their whole bodies or ancient greek togas with vines to keep it from slipping. something easily thrown on and easily discarded.

Interspecies Relations

Nymphs, while very wary and not understanding the rest of the world, typically have a good relationship with others. It's very hard for a nymph to get pissed off, and people rarely get angry with nymphs. its as foolish as getting mad at a tree or a rock in the road.

Hibagon

The hibagon have the best relationship with nymphs by far. Their being simple, hard working, natural folk is appealing to nymphs. its not confusing like tieflings and genasi and fairies, all of whole put a large emphasis on charisma and appearances.   the hibagon care only for their work and the effect their work has on the world around them. this is a language nymphs understand and can appreciate.
