Ivy Ann Ardent

An object of obsession to the fae and curiosity to anyone that studies her. Ivy was meant to be the living host for a long dead fae witch and now the Autumn King hunts her as well. She hounded by enemies that seek to exploit her heritage for their own gain. Only the heroes that rescued her and took her in have been been able to prevent that grim fate. And each time it has cost them dearly.

General Physical Condition

Always healthy without any signs of illness or wounds. Hair is generally messy and rarely stays combed for long. Smiles often.

While appearing generally healthy and beautiful human woman a close inspection by a medical profession will reveal certain quirks such as: durable subcutaneous scale-like protection, hair strands that sometimes move on their own, the occasional use of a nictitating membrane and other serpentine features.

Personal history

Found by her mother as an abandoned babe in the woods near Beldon. Ivy was raised in the Ghal Peloran township and taught to be an excellent seamstress by her family.   Ivy's adopted mother perished from illness over a decade ago and the family tailoring business was passed on to her.   A few months ago Ivy began exhibiting strange abilities that the townsfolk of Beldon quickly noticed. Most notably her uncontrolled ability to petrifying living things. She was taken captive by the townsfolk and meant as a gift to the hag coven in the woods but before that could happen she was rescued by a group of heroes passing through the area.   During the rescue the heroes discovered that Ivy has many traits in common with a fae creature known as a Medusa.   She was taken in by those heroes after they freed her and she now lives with them at the Seward Estate just outside Ghal Pelor.   Ivy has been the target of usurper to the Autumn Crown, the so called Pumpkin King.
