Geography

Synergasia is a world consisting of 5 continents of varying climes. Some are separated by smaller bodies of water while some are nearly isolated by vast oceans. Each continent may have from 1 to 10 countries on it.

The map of Synergasia is predetermined geographically, but place names, settlements, and other details are still being created.

Technology

Technology can be found on Synergasia in various forms, from the primitive to the advanced. However, writers looking to use advanced technologies may also be presented with different prompts and challenges to balance their submissions with those of areas of lesser technology.

Magic

Magic is also found on Synergasia, and may be sourced from a variety of forms, either material or energy-based, as well as given by deities.

Genre

There is no specific genre for the stories of Synergasia. They may represent current time on the planet, or the past. Depending on the writer, it may be cyberpunk, steampunk, fantasy or straight sci-fi, as long as the stories make sense in the overall complexion of the world. Before going off into stories that are far flung from existing ones, think about how the stories will eventually cross.
