At the start Solivity was separated, the great nations as we know them today didn't exist; but half were separated by a vast sea or simply didn't exist yet. There was a war to end all wars, the Aeon War. Weapons beyond anyone's wildest imaginations were used, eggs flying through the air that explode on impact. Metal being propelled at each other.

Magic and magical creatures weren't known to the greater world other than in children stories. The Aeon War was between the humans that inhabited Solivity over 5000 years ago, the nations of the world were in a tremendous war with each other. In an attempt to prevent the war continuing a secret group called the Roul-Khan or more commonly known now as The Forgotten came out into the open to try and be mediators between the opposing factions. The Roul-Khan were magic users spread across the planet governed by an appointed Elder, their solemn duty was to protect man and keep magic alive. They lived by a code of not to use magic in the view of regular men unless absolutely dire and to keep man and the secrets of magic safe. Once the world learnt of their existence the wars stopped, men banded together to fight this new threat they saw. They were scared of magic and the Roul-Khan and tried to get rid of them completely. Thus began the true Aeon War, a war of a thousand years. The Forgotten set up a sanctuary in a remote mountain range where they trained, all current members were told to come seek sanctuary but they were being hunted. No matter what happened, no matter how many Roul-Khan died at the hands of man they never shed blood. They lived by that vow the entirety of the war.

They decided they would need to seek a new home so the oldest of them invoked a very powerful form of magic back then they referred to it as Light Drawing, there are many Light Drawings used to date but this particular Drawing spread magic across the planet in such vast amounts that despite centuries of technological advance all of their equipment was useless. The magic now flooding through everything affected how electronics work, magic itself is power and can be transformed into a sort of electricity, because of this it shorted out almost every electronic device and made it so new devices couldn't be used. This is what the Forgotten needed, humans possess monitoring systems, their plan for a new home was inside the earth. They would tunnel down into the planet and forge a new home under the ground. They needed to keep this a secret however as it would take hundreds of years to complete this home.
Now that the humans didn't have access to their weapons and electricity they were back in what was once known as the dark age. The land was ravaged from the countless explosions and destruction brought upon her from all the proceeding wars and the war on the Roul-Khan. Men kept hunting them and they kept digging only few knew of their new sanctuary the rest trained and lived in sanctuary while hiding from the humans.
The magic that was being used to tunnel poured into the earth and it along with the radiation from the last war had a very unexpected effect, the land masses started to move slowly, but it was noticeable to their scholars. The planets plates started to form together again and by near the end of the Aeon War the planet was whole again all lands were conjoined.

Over the span of the 1000 years only the highest among the Roul-Khan knew of the project, they made sure to tell their successors of the project before they passed. Only 40 sorcerer's knew of the existence of the building before it was finished. It was and still is the single biggest feat of magic performed and recorded, the city was given every form of magical protection the Forgotten could give it to ensure their safety for generations to come.

The city was finished roughly 200 years before the end of the “war”. The elders at the time were preparing to move everyone one underground and the year that the city cavern was finished the Roul-Khan became the forgotten and moved underground. There was 10,000 forgotten that moved into the underground but they still needed to convince the humans their kind were extinct. The current elder at the time Jackob Relant came up with the plan, the current council of elders including himself would pass their duties onto their successors and send them to the city, the entrance way would be magically sealed and concealed. The elders council and 100 more volunteer Roul-Khan would stay above the surface. They created a magical barrier around their sanctuary within the mountains that would allow men inside but would give them ill effects, nothing fatal but enough to repel the men; illusionary magic was drawn to fill the courtyards and buildings with bodies, thousands of bodies men, women and children alike. They travelled to the land that would be known as Ra’Isha where the world leaders often met. They appeared in the middle of a government summit and announced their people were dead, the war and plague they couldn't kill with magic was responsible they are the only survivors. They have created a barrier containing the “plague” within it, they are free to enter if they wish to confirm that the bodies are in fact there and dead but to enter at their own risk. The mighty race of the Roul-Khan were almost extinct.

Guards would be called and the 110 foreign invaders were detained, no one fought back they all looked defeated and lost. Men were sent to the location of the sanctuary and it was confirmed by some orphan boys that their were in fact bodies littering the complex. Each member was individually questioned and tortured but all spoke the same story of a plague. Another summit was held and it was decided, the prisoners were to be publicly executed and the war ended. Guillotines were set up and all the prisoners were filed out onto the steps of their senate building and marched one by one to their death, non protested all took the abuse of the humans yelling triumphantly at them. The first man who was brought up was a man named Edward Brigg, once a sailor and navy man now a condemned sorcerer. The blade dropped a spurt of blood could be seen and Edwards body... was gone. All that was left was a pile of clothes and a small stone tablet with a runic symbol on it. Everyone was confused they saw the blood but no corpse, Jackob explained to them that his kind are attuned to nature, when they are aware of impending death they can concentrate and become one with it they may die but their body will be converted to pure magical essence that is absorbed by the world, it is an ancient form of magic known by few, he has taught it to the remainder of his people so they don't have to suffer a death like their kin. The tablet was carried by all Roul-Khan, they were organised into groups called septs and these were their symbols.

Each one accepted their fate, and with each slice through the air a pile of clothes and a stone tablet was retrieved. They were for the most part men, some women and a few children, the last to go was Jackob; he as their leader wished to say a word to the bloodthirsty crowd. “Magic will vanish from this world as long as there is peace. Our purpose here was to bring you together, that is clear to me now. Once this peace ends however magic will return, keep your peace and you shall not see our kind return.” he knelt down and prepared to die. Once the blade fell and Jackobs body disappeared a loud crack shot through the crowd and kept going. It could be heard from every single inch of Solivity. A pure gold tablet was on the floor and all of the tablets stacked next to it. The tablets were taken to a vault under the capital building. The Roul-khan were dead and the Forgotten were born.
