Amity City (/ˈæ.mɪ.ti/, [ˈæ.mɪ.ɾi])

A trading hub with residents from all over the world and the primary setting for Sensorium.

Demographics

This city has an unusually high supernatural population percentage at around 5% (compare to 1% of the world population). It's also highly suspected that a majority rather than the usual minority of the city's human population may have supernatural ancestry. Nobody's quite sure what originally lead to this being the case, but a large number of more-recent supernatural immigrants were attracted by the recently-founded Amitian Science Consortium.

Industry & Trade

Leaders in technological development and scientific research, things like robots and vehicles as well as texts on biology/astronomy/etc. are chief exports.

Districts

There aren't really any formal districts. There are areas that could technically considered market and residential districts, but these heavily overlap as many residents will live upstairs in the same buildings as their businesses.   Informally, supernaturals have sort of clustered themselves in certain areas just to be closer to each other.

Guilds and Factions

The Amitian Science Consortium is the largest human organization in Amity City; its largest subsidiary organization is Guild Machina, which runs the city's technological and architectural endeavors. Another especially large organization is the Textile Guild, which runs the city's textile businesses and trade.   As for supernatural organizations, the largest would be the Amitian Supernatural Council, followed by the Amitian branch of Eclipse.

Tourism

Tourists love the architecture – especially that of the famous Amity Palace – as well as the equally eclectic variety of food, clothing, and so on available. The Science Consortium's many subsidiaries (e.g. the Perrault Insectarium) are also popular attractions.

Architecture

Very eclectic, as it's basically a tradition for new citizens to bring new styles with them.
